Essential Fatty Acids-The GOOD Fat For Your Pets

Are you making sure your pet is getting enough fat to help them thrive?

A proper balance of fats, protein, and minerals should always be considered when deciding what to feed your dog or cat. If you're strictly feeding your dog or cat a commericial diet, it is likely they are missing out on a variety of necessary nutrients. 


Fat is a major source of energy for dogs and cats.  Feeding your dog pizza or giving your cat fat from a steak does not count as the type of fat your pet needs. When adding fat to your dog or cat's diet, you should be thinking about essential fatty acids.

You can provide your dog or cat with essential fatty acids through a whole foods diet or through supplementing.  Without adequate amounts of essential fatty acids, a variety of health concerns will likely occur with your dog or cat.  Such health concerns include loss of hair, stiff joints, itchy skin, heart and circulatory problems, as well as kidney and liver degeneration.
